August - November: (Senior Year)
  • Start senior year project expectations. Continue working on projects.
  • Look at the Senior Project Grading expectations.
  • Research expectations and deadlines that are set for Senior English – topic coordinates with Rutland Senior Endeavor.
  • Student Twitter & website progress checks by steering committee.
  • Informational meetings, group announcements and Q&A with steering committee as needed.
  • Monthly project progress expectations are met which will be monitored by the steering committee.
December: (Senior Year)
  • Complete Senior Project Self  Reflection.
  • First deadline (Semester 1) – SP grade expectations & criteria
  • Student expectations is to put their corrected research paper on their Weebly website.
  • Student Twitter & website progress checks by steering committee.
  • Informational meetings and Q&A with Steering Committee as needed.
  • Monthly project progress expectations are met which will be monitored by the steering committee.
January - February: (Senior Year)
  • S2 Senior Project Deadlines
  • Continue making project progress and meeting senior project expectations.
  • Start progress on exhibit board and presentation.
  • Student Twitter & website progress checks by steering committee.
  • Monthly project progress expectations are met monitored which wil be monitored by the steering committee.
March: (Senior Year)
  • Finalize exhibit boards and presentations with critiquing by teachers, steering committee and mentors.
  • Practice presentations with critiquing by teachers, steering committee and mentors.
  • Complete process paper and add to website.
  • Prepare website for publishing to be used at your presentation.
  • Invite mentors and administration to the senior project luncheon.
  • Steering committee will set presentation date which will be after the Rutland Project Fair. This will allow for time to make changes prior to judging.
  • Project judging & presentation schedule is set and shared with students.
  • Attendance and presentations at the Rutland Project Fair required for grading.
  • Student Twitter & website progress checks by steering committee.
  • Monthly project progress expectations are met monitored which will be monitored by the steering committee.
April: (Senior Year)
  • Final grade (S2 deadline). See Senior Project Grading page.
  • Meet with the steering committee to discuss grades.
  • Thank you writing to mentors and judges.
